The Medical Assistant Training Program provides graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions as medical assistants. Provided that medical assistants are trained in both administrative and clinical procedures, students are capable of filling a variety of entry-level positions, including, but not limited to clinical or administrative assistant, medical receptionist, and medical insurance billing specialist.

The Medical Assistant Program is for a duration of six to nine months.

The $5,000 includes uniforms and books. A $250 deposit will be required at registration and the remaining balance can be made in payments up until graduation.

Class Hours:
Morning Classes: 9 AM to 1 PM
Evening Classes: 5 PM to 9 PM

What will I learn?

  • Perform both administrative and clinical duties in an ambulatory health care setting, such as physicians' offices and clinics.
  • Variety of clinical responsibilities, including obtaining vital signs, performing basic tests on patients, and administering medications.
  • Perform many office tasks, such as scheduling and greeting patients, maintaining filing systems, completing basic financial reports, and handling insurance procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Not be listed as unemployable on the Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR)
  • Without any criminal record.
