- Be at least 18 years of age
- Must at least have an 8th-grade education or preferably a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Must furnish a photo identification and a social security card.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Applicants who have been convicted of any felony drug-related crime will not be considered for admission to the Dallas Career Institute.
